Kind of strange. Here are a couple of gems.
"Generally at most RV parks, during a 60 day period you are allotted about 20 days to park your vehicle."
"Financial stability can be found when you we are free to explore."
Oh, and the writer has only heard about Class C's and Class A's.
Despite the blurb, I did not notice anything about cars and vans.

"When her plush and comfy life suddenly and unexpectedly fell apart, Brooke and her dog Cloud set out to defy the odds. She put on a knapsack and started walking. If this is a man's world as they say, living on the streets is no place for a young woman. She was able to navigate her way through challenges and obstacles, getting odd jobs along the way, and hopping freight trains as a main mode of transport, until one day she awoke in the Red Wood forest, looked around the make shift camp built upon mounds of dirty kid trash and hidden back into the trees, and realized she had become... a hobo... and would ultimately come to know exactly what it means to survive."

The digital version of my first novel -- Obliterated - Would You Know How to Survive? --- is FREE on Amazon on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, only.
(as I post this, Amazon has not yet changed it to free but it should show as $0.00 by early on Friday morning)

You do NOT have to have a Kindle in order to read the Kindle edition. Amazon guides you through downloading the free Kindle app for your phone, tablet or computer. You can then take advantage of hundreds of free Kindle books over time. Authors like me offer a book free for a limited number of days so that we can snag some new readers!

So what's it about?
There is a sudden attack in Albuquerque and our heroine Kim's first thought is to get to her longtime lover Ray who lives in the mountains east of the city. She leaves within minutes, having grabbed her "go bag" (bugout bag). Her camping experience becomes the foundation for helping her friends survive what they later learn is a world-wide obliteration.

Woven into the novel are dozens of real-world survival tips. The reason for the obliteration falls into the science fiction category, because I did not want to write a novel based on political or conspiracy theories.

Thanks for letting me know they got the FREE price change up early as they are supposed to. And thanks for trying out my book (no hard feelings if is not someone's cup of tea - it was my first fiction effort). I had been amazed at the sales during it's first year.

I have not posted many books myself so I can't take that credit -- Cyndi is our main source for finding great free books to download. And I sure appreciate her efforts, too.

C.J., I managed to download your book before I left Friday. Thanks!
Wonderful story line, believable characters and events. Good timing and not a dull moment.
I don't esp like scii-fi, but it is a page turner for me.
One problem at the end is, before THE END, Amazon placed an error message, and I was not able to read the complete story... :(

Ella.. I have never had that reported before in four years about the end being cut off. I think you can email Amazon and they would send you another copy or let you download it again. Oh... and all books you "buy" are stored on your Amazon Cloud. So you might be able to go there and check if the full download is there and simply did not all make it in the download to your device.

I'll PM you, too, if you can't get the full download I may be able to email it to you where it cuts off, but it would have to be a PDF. Amazon does not give us a Kindle layout we can manipulate.
