Wanted to add that all these classic books are free to add to your kindle list, and I think most have a $0.99 audible narrated linked version, so you can listen to the book while driving. then stop and read it after you stop. Think that's how it all works.

Tried this audio book linked to classic book last night. Worked perfectly. Great quality narrations for $0.99 per classic book. Just really convenient.

There is another source for narrated audio books called libravox, but the quality of narration is not as good.

Audio books are hours of entertainment and distraction on the cheap.

I keep looking at all these ebooks for how to pay for living while traveling and it seems they are all saying the same things in almost the same ways. So glad I haven't been paying for them all. I haven't seen much in detail on things that would prove useful to me---just lists of where to look. Still interesting to read the different ways they put them together. I think it's about like the "make money from ebooks" ads that sell you an ebook on how to write ebooks on how to make money from ebooks to sell to others. LOL

How to make a million dollars. - first get a million dollars. Then invest it. --- lol. From Saturday night live comedy skit.

"When the author was born, his mother did the unthinkable. She gave him a girl’s name—Stacey. But Stacey’s name was just the first hurdle he’d face in his uphill climb from birth to manhood. He also had to deal with an entitled older brother, the hodgepodge of different men his mother was involved with, and the nomadic lifestyle he was forced to endure for five years. And to top it all off, his mother couldn’t cook a decent meal to save her life. Trailer Trash, With a Girl’s Name is Stacey Roberts’ lighthearted, often hilarious account of growing up in an unstable household during the 1980s. Full of humor, history, and hope, it follows Stacey from the hospital room where he was born to the Winnebago that carried him across the country, filling in the gaps with a wit and humor that anyone with a dysfunctional family can appreciate. So go ahead and start reading. Once you hop aboard the Winnebago with Stacey and his quirky family, you’ll find that you’re in for the ride or your life, where what you learn along the way is not only entertaining, but also enormously enriching."

My "Obliterated" series of 3 novels is "connected" to van dwelling ...sort of... because the story's main character draws on her camping and wilderness skills to help other survivors. They are in the post-apocalyptic genre, but they're not military- or weapons-heavy style books. Just ordinary people trying to survive by fleeing to a wilderness area (sounds a little like boondocking vandwellers, doesn't it?  LOL).

So... I hope no one takes offense at my shameless self promotion, but I wanted to let folks know that the first book in the series is FREE for download from Amazon on Friday, May 15 only. No risk to take advantage of a free offer.

Here is a link to the Amazon sales page:  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005IBVWOE

(as I'm posting this, Amazon has not changed the price to free, but it should change over at any time and will be free until the clock flips over to May 16 at whatever Amazon's time zone is.)
