Hi. Curious to know what kinds of solutions people have come up with for a scratching post in a small space? I know wrapping jute on something is a possibility, but my cat is used to a carpeted post. She doesn't use the shelves and such on the cat tree anymore but still works out the post part.

I have a short carpeted post for my van. It is about a foot tall.

I want to do something like this (in another shape) and possibly attach it to a jute covered post. My cats like the jute and one loves the cardboard.

Maybe get a remnant and cover a cardboard tube with it. Actually, PVC tube would more likely be easier to come by.

If I have space between the roof and the top of the sterlite stackables, I'm thinking of using the jute covered posts from the cat tree. It'll help secure the stackables & give a cat a place to hang while van's not in motion

All just ideas in my head. We'll see what I can actually do with the space I have.
