My problem with LEDs inducing headaches are not due to the harshness or colour of the lights. They simply give me a headache. It is something you do need to watch out for. I also cannot watch 3D (vertigo and odd "tight" headaches during viewing and for hours afterward). I don't get the vertigo with LED's but I get the same type of odd headache. Correlation? Maybe. But I rarely meet folks who have the LED problem like I have. I think. It's not like I run around telling everyone I meet.

Is this with AC powered LED lights?  Some folks have trouble with the 60 cycle flicker of any type of AC lighting, even if most people don't see it.  It can give epileptic folks fits, literally.  In others it can cause headaches, confusion, and other distress.

One who is affected by the LED 60HZ flicker, simply needs to open their skull up and turn down the refresh rate of their eyeball's refresh rate potentiometer and forever after everything will be 'just fine.'

And I could install more memory while I am at it.

enjoyed the read through the posts. nice info shared.

We have all _warm_ LEDs in our big rig right from the Evergreen factory. And had similar warm-white installed in our van conversion spring of 2013. For night time lighting I did pick up a few in blue and mount in appropriate places to gently light the way. OH, and then I have my ( ; mood ; ) light that is a little sphere that cycles through the rainbow or can be set at a preferred color ( example link ).

Fun stuff, so glad to be away from the florescent tech.
