a white econoline with extended cab

Does the same extended cab aspect
Decrease its stealth quotient ?!

It neither increases it or decreases it but it will increase the problems of finding a parallel parking space that is easy to fit into.

I don't know where the view that white cargo vans are stealthy originated. But I strongly disagree. Maybe I've seen too many episodes of Law and Order, but I think a white van parked in an unusual environment is creepy. Window vans are less likely to rise suspicion.

I'm curious what others think:

White cargo vans are reasonably common even at night or in the daytime in residential areas. Many people are self employed and park them at their home. I bought a white cargo van as my regular vehicle 30 years ago. Of course I have never cared what my neighbors thought about what I drove. Not that I have lived in a residential neighborhood since 2008.

Not sure there is a "normal" vehicle for neighborhoods in this day and age. DIY shows are very popular as is camping on weekends. Especially for the under 50 years old generations.
