Got my first traveling event gig, start two weeks from now. Best thing is, they're all at wal marts Perfect for boondocking. The event is just passing out candy for a few hours.

I had never thought of doing this on the road. I had a friend that picked up jobs like this, but they were mostly modelling type jobs through his agent.  I just assumed that they were all done like this.  I will definitely look into doing something like this, though I'm not the model type.  I'd work for a few days if it meant extending my vacation!

He was doing "promotional modeling".  Look up "brand ambassador", it's your more every day folks selling brand name items.  I go on craigslist and look under the marketing section.
