Dr. Appointments.

I had entered today as my lab work day on my handy dandy Apple phone, I went to MyHealtheVet and checked my appt time and it was for 1330, Yesterday. Damn. 

That will  be the second in a row I have missed and as I was typing this I got a call from the Anti-Coag clinic fussing at me. One more missed appt and I will lose the traveling access for testing. 

I have no real reason for typing this other than to remind myself I am slowly losing it. Whatever "It" is.

No calendar in an area you walk by often?
My In Laws have constant appts and my wife takes them. So on our calendar we have all the times written down

Calendar would have done no good, I marked the wrong day.. Phone has a calendar and reminders, it's the owner (me) who screwed up.

Thankfully my docs office and dentist both send out reminders, otherwise I'd never make it to anything.

This is what I do.  Mostly, I tape it to the window over the kitchen sink.  I do try to get the date and time right.  ("Pay attention, dummy" to self)

As for "One more missed appt and I will lose the traveling access for testing", what would be the point of THAT?  If you can't show up when you live nearby, how could you be any worse when traveling???

I entered the date on my phones calendar when she gave me the date. I either entered it wrong or she did. No matter, it just looks bad on my appt sheet and believe me the VA keeps tabs.

I had plans to leave for Utah on the 4th of this month. Appeared I needed some additional tests so I'm waiting on the next one. At this point I don't know what the schedule will be. It could either depend on the test results or the timing if all clear. I'm fidgety though.
