92 six pac camper. Wanting to upgrade the refer to a better 12 volt solution. It currently is evaporative 12 volt and not wanting to cut it up just pull out and upgrade to a 12 volt compressor type, it does run well on propane
 
If it fits, the Norcold DE0061 or similar would be compressor type. I'm looking at one myself. If I recall, our 1977 sixpac had a smaller unit, probably more like the DE0041T.

I have a 2010 Dometic (2-way gas) and a 2011 Norcold 641.3 (3 way gas, used once) for sale. If I can sell both for a reasonable amount, i can afford my DE0061. I paid $1,300 for the new Norcold that went into my motorhome and came out right after I blew the engine and sold it. The Dometic is in my 2010 Travel Trailer.
