My family had a VW repair shop for about 10 years, we got our engine pull time to about 6 minutes I think. We had a floor lift though. My baja bug time was 2:35 without the rear cage on it! We could do an average bug clutch in about a half hour if the driver's top bolt wasn't stubborn.

A bud of mine put a new clutch into his VW ready to go to work the next day, got'er done and was cleaning up when he discovered the brand new clutch release bearing still sitting on the bench, right next to the old one.....<img src="/images/boards/smilies/bawl.gif" class="emoticon bbc_img">
