I'd like to see more stickies, basically take each of the specialized sections such as electrical, insulation, solar, flooring, ventilation etc and combine the best questions and answers there. Yes it would take some upkeep on faster changing areas such as batteries or solar, but not much on ventilation or insulation.
This way I could spare members like SternWake, HDR and others from having to answer the same questions even if they already have saved posts to refer to. I'd prefer to read the stickies. Perhaps some sort of software could be found that requires a stickie thread to have been clicked on prior to a new thread topic being created, ie. if I want to start a new thread just to ask about "solar install" the software would recognize "solar" and require me to at least open the "solar" section first. Not foolproof certainly but could keep so many same questions being asked...
Either way, it does take some patience when searching yet those are the things we have to accept.
