I right clicked the image and saved to my desktop. I then inserted it into the post using the add attachment.

im on mobile so maybe thats the problem.   i tried and failed.   anyway, will someone nice here say that my ghetto install is better than the previous ghettoer way?

This is the last one.  You might try taking pictures at the lowest resolution to post here instead of the hires ones.

If you are going to have AC, why not get rid of the roof vent so you can have even more solar on the roof?

I have not added a roof vent to our Ford Transit cargo van yet because I figure it will be seldom used if we add in a mini split AC unit.  The roof of a van that does not have vents is a massive surface for solar

Measure zero times, instead just hack out the opening with a saws-all until you can ram the object through it.
You have that ghetto style methodology perfected :)

lol!   thank you!    surprisingly it fits so tight i couldn't get it out with a jaws of life!

Of course you have put out the welcome mat with that look and you will have lots of visitors knocking on your van door in the middle of the night :) For sure it is not stealthy it will attract the good guys and the bad guys.

lol.   how the fk did yku know that?   not at night but you're absolutely correct.  yesterday i had a bike tour group roll by asking a zillion questions, another nice vandweller who's factory ac died, and finally a really nice pastor and his wife who wanted advice for their son.   i'dsay the breakdown is mostly complimentaryand only a few kooks.

I guess I know that because I don't have a stealthy nomadic rig either. Mine is bright red with black. Today I was told they thought it was a "food truck" mobile coffee shop. That is because it has slider windows on it, it has a bright red popup canvas roof section and after all it this is Seattle.

But the guy who did the asking owns a food truck business so that of course did influence his thinking. The fresh water and waste tanks under my sink did come from an Amazon source who sells them for food trucks. I do have a bright red commercial popup canopy with a table and chair under it. I can make espressos but I have not so far had any customers walking up ;) Just your normal snoopy types of people stopping to look in the windows.
