Did I figure my wattage correctly?

I need to run a CPAP machine off of my battery. The listing plate on the back says 24V, 3.75amp. Does that mean it consumes only about 90 watts? Could I run it off a 200 watt pure sine inverter? Who makes a good, inexpensive pure sine inverter?

Thanks

Thanks Sternwake. But the unit already has a 24V transfomer plug hardwired to the unit. So I just want to plug in to an inverter. I understand this is not the most efficient. But I understand it. BTW, should i put a fuse between the battery and the inverter? Or am I safe direct wiring to the house battery?

If the transformer is not inside the unit, it is just a matter of cutting the cord, figuring out which is + and - and putting the wires in the right holes.

But, I fully understand just wanting an inverter for it though.

I really like my Wagan Elite 400 watt PSW. Very compact unit and not too pricey.

If you want to try the DC to DC converter instead, and have some crimping skills. You can put an Anderson powerpole connector on the wire so that all you need to do to use the unit in a stick and brick again is made simple.

These 30 amp ones are easy to crimp. the 45 amp ones are the same size but require more skill to crimp properly:

Fusing is very wise on any circuit.

Thanks for your input Sternwake. The Wagan Elite 400 watt PSW sounds like the way for me to go. I'm in a bit of a hurry. And I have no crimping skills. But I will keep the other option on file for when I have more time. Again, muchas gracias for your help.
