As the weather warms up, I may head to the Cottonwood-Sedona area to boondock.

A few questions:

Are the Cottonwood supermarkets fairly well stocked?

Are the boondocking locations such as Forest Rd. 525 & Bill Gray Rd. filling up, or are lots of sites still available?

Thanks for answering these inquiries.

I drove by Bill Gray couple of days ago, 7-10 rvs I estimate there. Fwiw, noticed this article on web but need a subscription apparently to read it... No idea what the “stress” is.

Big markets in Cottonwood are Frye's and Safeway, don't know how Frye's is now but Safeway seems to have mostly full shelves aside from paper products, which a rep there advised are usually available when they open at 6am but gone within an hour or so. Simply said for now they just don't receive a lot. They seem to be more on top of changes in demand now than when all this started which is encouraging.
If you're a hiker be aware even Sedona with its ton of trails has now closed many of them, with rangers sitting all day at trailheads to police. Their social distancing take gets a bit over the top as people in numerous places in town are far closer than passing by each other on the trail, everyone I meet moves over to give distance as I do, but is what it is...
Here's one link showing closures: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/coconino/home/?cid=FSEPRD716281
