1/2, in case you are interested in being a volunteer, jamie at the van build is looking for people who can help out with all sorts of mechanical and solar and carpentry installs. They have something like 170 people wanting installs and too few competent volunteers.

The son and DIL took us to Ma Goodson's for lunch. Wife had her usual pot roast and the DIL had chicken fried chicken. The son had the large CFS and I had the regular one.
We are all stuffed. I managed to eat all of mine but am now paying the price, STUFFED.

OMG Brian! I would rip someones lungs out for that big CFS! I am Envy-Envy-Envy! Even if I couldn"t ride my bicycle home. That's it I am going to Texas, I am tired of the pseudo CFS's.

Damn I am hungry now. Going to have stir fried rice and honey glazed chicken. Going to pretend I am having a Texas CFS. Going to freshen up on my lung ripping skills afterwards. Too bad I like the guy camping next to me.
Those plates were shirley full. I notice the guy top-left appears to have Texas Kebab, not CFS. I had noticed that Big Daddys (I think it was) in south end LHC has CFS.

Just to be sure everyone is not thinking the size of the steak is what makes it a great steak, it isn't. It's the seasoning and the gravy. OMG Still full over 3 hours later.

Similar to other famous restaurant institutions, each has built a particular incomparable reputation for their specialty, and for Chicken Fried Steak, it is and has been Goodson' Cafe since 1950.
Recently we have been featured on the Travel Channel's "DEEP FRIED PARADISE" Along with being voted number "62" in the Travel Channels "AMERICA'S 101 Tastiest Chowdowns".

I was just out for my monthly trip to the favorite buffet with Harbor Freight next door. Mostly go for the grilled salmon, fried shrimp, crab casserole and big helping of green beans. Afterwards, the afternoon is totally shot. There was a good buffet in LHC last winter, but they appear to be closed now. Will have to find another one.
1/2, we can start calling you "H" for Heisenberg. LOL. Let's see, November 1 and RTR is mid-January. Plenty of time for a trip to Terlingua, TX. They must have CFS there. Here's your new hat, H. Practice the scowl.
