Hello all,

So our housing arrangement is coming to an end due to the person who rented to us performing in illegal manors and blaming everyone in each room for his problems is getting evicted. We are going to book it on the 31st or 3rd and are currently in Washington. My father has work near Bothell and I was wondering if anyone knows good areas to park overnight.

It seems as if parking at a rest stop 30 or so minutes away is good to go as long as we don't park for more than 8 hours at a time. A local LE even recommended my father to use one when he bumped into a curb from working his shift. We have camped in our cars beforehand and as long as we had a place to comfortably sleep we were fine. I have a Toyota Prius and my dad a Hyundai Sonata with a passenger window that won't close. Otherwise we keep clean and are usually away from the sleeping area until we are about to sleep.

Does anyone know of some places to park overnight or would the rest stop be the best bet?

Maybe rest stops. Definately many Walmart, some casino's, most chain hotel/motels, truck stops, 24 hour restaurants are ideas... Just keep an eye out for "Posted no overnight parking" signs.

to start off with then scope out other places,it's best to mix it up and not stay at one place
winter is coming in 2-3 months and 50 degrees and rain will be common in that area

Check the drivers app in Allstays.com for truck stops and wal marts etc that allow overnight parking near you.

Check Freecampsites.net to see if there are any free campsites near you and then check casinocampers to see which casinos allow overnight parking as well.

Always read the reviews and the details on each listing to get a feel for where you should park on a lot and what others who have used the parking lots have to say about their own experience.

Bothell is on the fringe of the Seattle Metropolitan area, relatively close to the national forests.
