Before I bought my Outfitter years ago I looked at Capri Campers and they appeared to be well made. Not rushed through an assembly line. a casual friend who works the rodeo circuit part time has one of the cheaper units and it has hung together well.

This was prior to the new owners but I'm told they are hands off on the assembly part of it.

I think for a rugged, get into the backwoods camper they would be in the mix. Not a lot of amenities but built well.

You can also go to the plant and watch your camper being made. Nice touch.

I'd probably have gotten one, but they don't fit between a Ranger's wheelhouses

Reminds me of my cabinet shop working days. Also makes me want to build a truck camper. Could do that in my garage. Only thing I don't like about those campers is all that fiberglass insulation. It's the worst possible stuff to use on a camper. If I built one i'd install ice and water the entire outside and then do the aluminum roof and siding, would be almost guaranteed leak proof forever. At the very least i'd use it on the roof and drape it over the sides a few inches.
