I have no idea how wide a step van really is, but those trusses certainly look strong enough for a roof.Hmmm, 94" might do it. It's only a few extra inches and there might be enough slack/stretch in the existing roof sheet that these might squeeze in there with little modifications.
I’m thinking so. Crafting it from metal vs. wood I think would be better. Right? I think so. That’s only $50? Thank you for sharing that, I’m sure I could find a craftsman here to fabricate something like it.Would something like this work if you had it welded in?

My step van is 86" on the inside. So maybe those trusses might need some modification, but it's a decent material.
