I just got it back from a guy that sprayed 4" of foam insulation on the underside of the bus floor to save head room inside the bus.

How much did the 4" of foam insulation on the underside of the bus cost?

And is it flammable? Exhaust heat?

The cost for the spray foam insulation was $600.00. The single most expensive part of the conversion. There is no danger of the exhaust starting the foam on fire as the cab and engine compartment area was not sprayed. The exhaust drops down on hangers below the area that was sprayed the rest of the way back. If you look at the bottom of any school bus there are four inch cross members every two feet or so. Everything that has anything to do with the drive train is below that level; including the exhaust.
