Tried them already. The parking garages in Seattle are typically not tall enough to accommodate a full size van. :( At least, that's been my experience so far.

Bitty,  We use to have an 9.5' high van (w/roof-top AC) that we could get into the bottom floor of the UW medical center parking garage ... in case you didn't know about that option.  Suanne

Currently low 90's here in the Whistler, BC area, but feels like high nineties (97), and the weather network says it looks as if these temps are expected to last throughout the next couple of weeks. The humidity is brutal, but then it always is.

We don't bother with the A/C, just open windows and cross breezes. All in all it's not too bad.

By the way, in Vancouver, I haven't seen a hospital parking garage that didn't charge for parking, and it certainly isn't cheap. Brian and I had to make use of them frequently over the past year. Vans of any size are too high to fit in anyway. (We used our old Chevy Tracker for those trips.)

Shalom,

Jesse.

You might want to measure the height of your van at it's highest point, so you have a reference to work with.

My full size, standard height, 1986 Dodge van will fit in many parking garages.

For anyone interested, here's the directions I used for making mine.

I added a valve between the pump and the heater core assembly so I could adjust the water flow rate.  I used the smallest bilge pump I could find at the time, but found that if I slowed down the flow rate the output air would get cooler.  A pond or fountain pump may be a better choice.
