The picture of the girls in the drivers seat cracks me up. Looks like they're working out who will do the pedals and who will steer. "No, the gas is on the right and the brake is on the left sis, you got this".

DON'T LEAVE THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION !!!!

Or it might be
"Hey , he left the keys...................Hold my beer and watch this!"

I've only been to Starbucks about 4-5 times in my life as don't care for fancy coffee and they're very pricey.  Made an exception today as there was one next to the UPS Store I picked up my mail at.  Enjoyed a Mocha Coffee and their WIFI from their outside patio.

Bought some fresh live shrimp right off the boat today, $5 per pound.
Guess what we're having for supper tonight:). Have them chilling in the Dometic at 35*.

Here's a 33 second video clip that shows the harbor and the shrimp jumping around.

BIG KUDOS to Walmart Automotive in Portland Texas.  I had my tires rotated during my last oil change, by a Ford dealer.  The van is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system sensor on each valve stem.  Anyhow, my rear tires looked low the next day so I checked pressures, 70 psi front 49 psi rear.  They forgot to adjust pressures and reset monitors.  When I adjusted to 49 front and 70 rear the tire warning light came on.  To reset them requires a lot of button pushing and air hose time so I asked Walmart if I could use their hose and explained why.  The service guy said he had an easier way to do it, a little hand held computer.  He just touched each valve stem with it until the vans horn chirped.  After he did the final one my on dash screen showed "tires retrained."  They said no charge and to stop by anytime I had the same issue.  I tipped the Tech $20.  Great people here in Texas.

Beautimous last hour of the day in the harbor... ships, birds, water, and sail boats.  2:36 video

Bob....did you get that shrimp straight from a trawler?

Looks good and really glad you and your furgirls have decided to keep your journey documented!

Great job!

PB...yes, bought the shrimp straight off the trawler shortly after it docked. I noticed other buyers buying 20 plus pounds so asked if they could sell me 1 lb. Was told if I had $5, I could get a pound of fresh, live and still kicking shrimp :)

Well, I've left Corpus Christi and continued my trek west on US90.  In the last couple days I've been to Del Rio Tx, drove right along the fence separating US/Mexico, crossed the Pecos River, visited Judge Roy Bean's original office in Langtry Tx and am presently camped for the night at the Stripes gas station in Sanderson Tx.  I made a 5:36 sec. video for those interested
