Good day in Pahrump today. UPS mail showed up, got a haircut, stocked up at Albertsons Grocery, and connected to a strong Wifi signal, Nugget Casino parking lot, and updated the maps on my Garmin 570LMT GPS. Life is good.

Visited the ghost town of Ryolite Nv, a big mining town 1905-1920.  Here's what's left of the bank.  Several other partial buildings can still be seen

And, thanks to freecampsites.net I found a neat piece of BLM land, "The Pond", to camp for the night.  Life is good.

After studying weather, considering sites to see and dispersed camping availability,  I'm headed into California.  End of day destination, Ridgecrest Ca. :)

HDR...Walmart stop in Ridgecrest and continued west.  Thanks for the info though.

RVP...I hear ya on the non digital pictures, have experienced the same thing myself.

Took lots of pictures and video clips in Death Valley today.  Just beautimous and temps were in the high 60s ::) Made stops at Stovepipe and Trona.

After my first 2 dispersed campsites had the roads "CLOSED" I was finally able to find a great free spot on Lake Isabella.  Only saw 2 motorcycle campers when I pulled in; nice n peaceful :)

The lake is on the cargo door side, here's a background picture.  Albeit a bit windy, it sure is purdy.  From the looks of the nearby trees, it's frequently windy here LOL!!!

Awesome and scenic ride today following the Kern River out of the mountains from Lake Isabella to just outside Bakersfield Ca.

I stored a 2:48 minute clip on YouTube if you want to see some of the trip.  

Camped for the night at a small truck stop outside of Paso Robles Ca.  Life is good. :)
