Bob had a moment at the RTR and removed himself for a night to calm down and chill out. Drumming and music in to the night and maybe until dawn is to be EXPECTED at any gathering of more than a few close friends. Because of this central firepits and gathering places are set away from where people camp or sleep. It is easy enough to create quiet, family, or even women only areas. The music and the drumming is not the problem it was ... poor planning? ... No, that's not fair. ... Unexpected circumstances and a larger crowd maybe ... Anyway, let it go people. Plan camp areas just a little bit and things will be much happier. Communicate! If the group decides on quiet hours, then post them. Better yet, allow music and drumming in the central gathering/firepit and if you don't like it camp further out.

If the Carolyn in question is the one I've watched she has had some growing pains. Pople also seem to get totaly butt hurt over the stupidest things. I wouldn't want to get bumrushed by a bunch of strangers. I wouldn't want people just walking up to my rig unannounced and uninvited. And here's the other one that seems to have gotten people bent out of shape, she asked that people NOT post to the Internet where she is RIGHT NOW. Imagine that, a single woman living in an RV NOT wanting strangers to know where she is parked.

If I am offended, off put, or bored by a Youtuber I unsubscribe I don't post ugly things in comments.

If I like what they do, I watch the next video. If I have something nice to say I say it.

Why is all of this so hard for people.

I subscribe to both.  Sometimes the subject is unappealing to me so I don't watch it.  Being a woman, I certainly enjoy a woman's perspective.  
Women have complained for years that a lot more crap is posted in their comments section.  There are a lot of weak people out there picking upon what they believe is the weaker sex.

Hi. I started the thread because I'm new & was trying to understand the animosity that seems to follow people who seem friendly & helpful.  No intention to gossip.  I never thought of any of this as being behind Bob's back, because I assumed that he reads these posts when time permits, & I would never say anything bad about either of them, anyway.  Their videos have been incredibly educational to me.  I'm in their debt.

TC - You are asking us, Bob (and generally Carolyn) ally's, to explain a bunch of butt hurt angry douchebags in YouTube comments. If you are unfamiliar with cesspool that is YouTube comments consider yourself very very lucky.

I avoid the whole thing by generally NOT WATCHING YouTube videos.  I'm old school.  I read books.  Nice thing about books is that you know that anyone who wrote one - even what turns out to be a BAD book - really had to work at it.

As opposed to sticking a video camera on a selfie stick and posting the results online.

Well, my post just expressed thoughts on what I consider valuable YouTube content. I'm a visual learner, I need to see things sometimes. Of course I'm in Bob's and Carolyn's camp. Carolyn is still finding her footing, but she'll get there, she's a smart lady.
YouTube comments, I can only get through about three, then the jerks come out and I stop reading.

You are free to watch or not watch Bob's and Carolyn's videos, like them or dislike them, post on YouTube if you want but there's no need to discuss any of it here.
