Question for those that have been there before.

I am planning on being at the RTR, then at the amateur radio Quartzfest out on la Paz valley road just south of Quartzsite. going to both events would cover Jan 10 thru 27th more than 14 days. Opinion is there enough distance to cover the 25 mile distance requirement? Not sure how to handle since there are registration host at each site.
Any Ideas?

well if it were me I would just do it. the host at RTR isn't actually on site. the Rangers just look for the windshield tag, if you have the tag they just drive by. there is no on site computer database. unless you have a rig that really stands out the Rangers aren't going to notice. my 2 cents. highdesertranger

After looking at the Quartzfest website and seeing that the event's location is likely 18-20 road miles from the RTR, what HDR said is even more relevant. No worries mate

The XYL and I are planning on doing the same thing this year.

According to my map it is only 5-8 miles from one to The other.

You're more accurate. I guessed at about 5 miles south of Quartzite, but later noticed that the RTR is about 5 miles from the same intersection. I was using the map on the laptop instead of scaling it on my paper map, sorry. :)

Not a problem.
I do have an Idea. A coat of paint.  Won't share now but would be easy. and make the rig less obvious.

We will be camped a few washes to the north of the main drag to avoid the some of the congeston. We have a small 5th wheel pulled by a 2017 Ram 1500 SWB
