Yeah, the price seems pretty outrageous. But it is a one-of-a-kind and supply and demand sets the price.
Bob

In this case supply may exceed demand.

If you've ever done any bike camping it DOES get the juices flowing. I've spent a lot of time in years past bike camping with 4 saddlebags (two on the front wheels and two in back). Even when you're in top notch condition it is a B*tch climbing hills with a heavy bike. I still have my bike tent. It is just barely big enough to crawl into & zip the end shut. It travels in a roll about 1' long X 4" across. It fit nicely rolled into a sleeping bag & strapped on the rack behind the seat.
Beautiful trailer! Nice for the beach; which it seems to be intended for. Not for the open road methinks.

Do you have an update for us Bob??

Did your friend sell this rig, and did he get what he wanted out of it??

I just follow his blog so I don't really know him other than to write him and get permission to reproduce his story and pictures. If he posted anything about it on his blog I missed it. Sorry, I don't know what happened after that.
Bob
