The list doesn't include some newer mini-vans, I guess because not many were manufactured as "cargo" variants for a long time, until this new batch of Transit Connect/Metris/Promaster City/City Express came out. Looks like mini-cargo is finally making a comeback.
The 6.2 was the only light truck/van engine designed with efficiency as the top priority when it was launched, reflected in its stock power output compared to the 6.9 IDI and the 5.9 6BT, probably the best engine for a full size van geared for economy of the era.
Lack of the old 2001-2006 Sprinter 2.7L is a glaring oversight too, maybe the best economy a full size van will ever see on this continent, if and until hybrids come along.
