I have a bedroll type setup, several miscellaneous pads that stack up/fold up well. I've got a yoga mat, a closed cell backpacking pad, a couple of thermarests, and topped with a washable cotton chaise lounge pad. I use a sleeping bag like a blanket, with a toe box. I sleep dressed and as I am often in cooler weather change/shower during the warmer period of the day.

Ikea makes high quality mattresses that include memory foam at a very good price.

Here is the bed I would like to have in the van: Zinus Quick Lock 30 Inch Wide Day Bed Frame and Foam Mattress Set

However, it is out of stock. So... I'm thinking of going with this bed: Zinus Sleep Master Traveler Elite Folding Guest Bed

And adding an additional foam mattress on top: Mattress, Lux Foam - HQ (M) WITH DACRON WRAP

I could have this set up in less than a week and actually be ready for some weekend trips at least!

This site says it is available http://www.homeandfamilyoutlet.com/...k-30-inch-wide-day-bed-and-foam-mattress-set/
for some odd reason when I clicked the link to double check it, the Amazon site came up. when I closed that window, the correct site was underneath.

just rechecked the site, they now say that they are out.

Mines a pull out. I made it 6'6" with 5" foam from Foam Factory. I ordered it firmer than I like so have an egg crate pad to add on top.  I can easily sleep on the 30" width, but have a 90 pounder who needs room too. I keep it covered with a thin comforter and sleep with just another comforter and blanket if needed.  It's almost as comfortable as the expensive mattress I had back home. Under are a vented compartment for batteries and one for inverter and fuses, plus plenty of storage for other things.
