Has anyone gone through acclimation from Hot to Cold ?

Fairbanks Alask residents have extreme cold in winter and mid summer temps in the 90s plus of course days in winter when the sun barely comes up and .days in the summer when it never gets dark.

So yes people do get acclimated to such things.

I once had to acclimate to a colder climate, but once I grabbed my beer, I quickly closed the fridge door.   Enough !
