Somebody once told me that salt will put out a small grease fire. Old school stuff. Never had to try that out though.

Problem with salt is that people confuse it with sugar which looks the same. And sugar burns like a mofo.

Some safety rules you can break, some you should never break. I pretty routinely break them.

For over 13 years I've heated my camper with a cooking appliance--including 6 years in Anchorage, AK. Now that's all I use.

BUT!!!!! I have magical powers over Coleman stoves, so none of you should try it!!!!!!!!

I sometimes use my Coleman stove for heating too, but I have concerns, so I always have the ventilation fan on, and I am going to get a CO detector...
