Does anyone know the requirements to register so you can use in Quartsite? I've got a bite on my Cycle and when it's gone an AtV or UTV will replace it.

you must be a state resident to register your ATV in AZ. if your ATV is registered in your home state you can ride on the dirt roads no problem. I was told they wouldn't say anything if I rode into town, I didn't test this out. if you become an AZ resident it's no problem, just go to the DMV(or whatever they call it) and register for street legal and they give you a plate. highdesertranger

I should have added in many rural towns throughout the west, they not only allow you to ride in town they encourage it. this is with just normal registration, not street legal. highdesertranger

Thanks HDR, I may have to figure out a workaround. It won't come close to being able to register for Texas.

if you know someone in AZ just use their address. I do this. I have one of my ATV's registered in CA and one registered in OR. I use them both anywhere. highdesertranger

I don't know the ins and outs of it but I have friends from Canada who have Az plates on their 2 ATVs.
I've noticed others with out of state plates on their rigs with Az plates on their toys.
Not sure how that works but it is easy to become an Az rez. A few of our members got a box at the store/RV park in Ehernberg and now have Az plates on their vans.

I'm a Nevada Resident (with a NV drivers License) and I have AZ plates on my van. It surprises me a non-resident can register his vehicle there but not a street legal ATV.

I have a friend with a off-road only dirt bike, and he very easily converted it to be street legal and get AZ plates. He is a Florida Resident. Again, I'm surprised he can do that with an off-road only motorcycle but not with an ATV.
