I always travel with my mountain bike and it's taking a beating from dust, rain, etc. Yes, I see those amazing Sprinters with their bikes tucked neatly inside....(turning a little green with envy, lol)...I've looked at bike covers, but they all seem to have bad reviews....anyone have a good experience with one in particular? As always, thanks in advance!

I've found that a large BBQ cover can be modified/cut in the back and placed over the bikes (two).   It's a bit of a pain and you have to attach bungees to keep it in place.

I've since gone to covering just the seats (plastic bag first and then a nylon/stuff sack) and the handle bars.  For the handlebars I use slightly modified storage bags that some folding camp chairs come in---often you can find them at thrift stores.

I bought a cheap shower cap to cover my seat, works great. I'll check out something like you describe for the handlebars. I I like simple! Thanks

I got one from Amazon for the same reason, got the Pro Bike Cover, (it says Pro Bike Tool on the side of it and it's all black), for $34.98 which is a sale price right now, (regularly $49.99) and it's the XL... the large goes for $29.98. (I got the XL to cover two bikes). This is a high quality cover and I'm very happy with it. I also use shock cords to help with a snug fit and reduce wind flap. The description on Amazon will give you more details, but again, I'm happy with this cover.
