Anyone 'dwelling in a shorty van?

Just started this process last night.  There is blue painters tape on the floor marking out the cargo area of a standard Express van.  I can see how it could be doubly valuable for a shorty.

Then there are the wheel wells, on on the inside, BIG ASS BUMPS!

I'm considering a short wheelbase full-size van because it has a lot of features that I like, but I'm just not sure if there's enough room.  I know there are people out there in minivans, but the vast majority are in comfortably living in extended vans.  Any words of advice from someone that owns a short van?

Well, as for "Short" van, I do live in a B1500 Dodge Van. Had I been more discerning, I'd have passed on it. Good lesson though! I still have it but would advise that for living out of, you'd better be VERY good at "Compartmentalizing" your stuff, because the amount of room you have, is not great and all items MUST have value...

did I miss the part where the OP states if it is just him inside the van? or is there a significant other or pet?

Anywhoo.... IF I were single I would have no issues "Living" with our current chevy express awd RB short wb conversion. But we will be selling it and moving into something larger once ties are cut to employment.
