Happened upon this site and I have been lurking for some time, figured about time to at least join in the forum fun. We are looking at the road lifestyle after retirement. So reading, learning and narrowing down the direction we will need to go to successfully launch.

Well, just by dumb luck I was filling my diesel and struck up a conversation with the gentleman in the next diesel pump. He buys and renovates older gas RV's for resale with a slight twist. He buys gas Rv's and converts them..... to hydrogen powered. He claims they go from 6-8 mpg to 16. After the crazy season (here at UPS that would be Christmas) I will be visiiting with him and I will share what I have found out. The way he describes it it is fairly straight forward and relatively inexpensive, especially if you drive alot, and then able to see a savings thru fuel consumption. Thx for the welcoming...

where does he fill up with hydrogen? there are not that many hydrogen refueling stations. it's still very experimental. highdesertranger
