Welcome to the tribe. Feel free to stop by and say hello in Ehrenberg. Hot coffee is available in about 3 minutes. Just look for the white school bus called "HANNAH". We're on the right about a quarter mile before you reach the top of the mesa.

I walked down the road this morning, but I didn't see the school bus. I'll keep an eye out for you on my morning jaunts.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Hi. I am reading intros to introduce myself. I am new too. Much older than you but I am an artist want to be. Lol. I would love to listen to your music. I plan on going to Ehrenberg, Arizon around Dec 14 arriving three days later. I understand there are a few people already there so you might want to go there. It is not far from Quartsize. Hope to meet you later. I do stand out a little bit because I only have one hand. My name is Sara and hope to meet you at Ehrenberg or Quartsize and listen to your music. Bob put directions to Ehrenberg on his website. I am not certain I am replying correctly.  See you soon.....Sara

Slightly younger at 38 and still working...currently up in Kingman for the winter on a private lease spot. Will be down in Q for the RTR, but only the first weekend as I committed to hosting the Singles Get-Together which was my idea. I think it is happening on the first Saturday...you'll absolutely be welcome to stop by and socialize. I'm still not sure what the format will be but I need to come up with some ideas...probably hors- d'oerves and a few drinks.

The singles event sounds great.

I have a feeling that I'm going to move around quite a bit this winter until I find a spot that feels homey to me.

I do plan on checking out the RTR, but I'll just have to see what happens. I have this fantasy that I'll meet up with some people my age who are more liberally-minded, and we'll caravan together. Until then, I keep on wandering.

I enjoyed checking out your blog. Looks like you're having a blast.

Thank you Sara.

I made my way over to Ehrenberg and have met up with a few of Bob's people.

I plan to check out the spots down by the Colorado River and to take a trip down to Holtville to get some hot springs time over the next few weeks.

I plan on returning for the RTR. Looking forward to meeting you at some point.

most everyone will be showing up in late Dec, on threw the spring. I know the Van build is going on right now. and there are craft stores in town, but it doesn't get hopping till Jan for the most part.... Bleyth has great fishing and there is a casino in Parker, it has a show / movies next to it... I hope that helps you find things to do till everyone shows up! enjoy the fact that you can drive around without a ton of RVs on the road...LOL

Thanks for the tips. I'll probably tour around a bit until the RTR. A trip to Parker and Lake Havasu seems like it will be one of those adventures.

Don't flee so quickly MFrancisDwyer.  We just aren't all there yet.  From what I have seen so far, this is a very diverse group, and it seems that most are pretty helpful to one another regardless.

And thanks for the campendium.com link!

This is true. I've had a number of nice conversations with folks over here in Ehrenberg. I feel the need to check out some other spots, but I'll be back.

You're welcome. Campendium.com is awesome.

Thank you to Steve, Dave and Gordy for your welcome and conversations. It was a short stay in Ehrenberg, but I'll be back at some point.

My aching muscles demanded that I go check out the hot springs down in Holtville. After a day of soaking, I have no regrets about the decision.

I put up a post in the Gatherings: Formal and Informal for a Mindfulness/Meditation group. If you are interested in being part of a meditative nomadic community, please get in touch.

For those of you who don't venture into the Gatherings section in the forum, here's the first YouTube video for the fledgling "Mindful Nomadics" group that is forming in the desert this winter. If you're interested in spending time in community with others who value meditation, mindfulness, peace, simplicity and creativity, check out the post in the "Gatherings: Formal and Informal" section.

The video is...

"Inside the Mind of the Meditator"

Thanks to a technological breakthrough, we are now able to hear the thoughts that go on inside a meditation practitioner's head. It is....revealing.

Hi
I’m a newbee soon to be headed to Quartzsite as a first timer.  Not a full timer yet. Exploring
the possibilities. I have downsized to a tiny apartment. Hope to meet you at RTR and many others.  Enjoy your journey.

Sounds good RVrebel. I just arrived back in Quartzsite. Let me know when you get into town.

I'm back in Ehrenberg. If you're interested in stopping by and saying hello, PM me for my coordinates. Definitely get in touch if you'd be interested in the meditation/mindfulness group.

I may join you! I’m in Denver Co right now and having a little bit of a break down issue. But I will definitely be at the RTR and make it to Quartzsite early to work on my truck if possible. I am also young for this lifestyle at age 41 and I’m doing a YouTube thing and producing videos. Look me up I’m called the breadtrucker.

Just watched the video. Sorry to hear about your breakdown issues. It's always hard to have that stuff happen en route. Love your attitude and roll-with-the-punches mindset. I used to live in Boulder and Nederland...two of my favorite places in the world. At least you got to experience that mountain zen prior to the breakdown.

Looking forward to meeting up with you at some point. I'm in Ehrenberg now and may head to Lake Havasu for a while, but I do plan on being at the RTR.

Safe travels

Sounds great - I will be around there in the next month -If it suits you - I will find you so we can see how many new people you will have met by then. Have a great day cheers Estelle.

Thank you for so much for your kind response! I’m a positive guy and I like to keep it positive! If you are at RTR I will definitely see you there. Nice to meet you

Didn't see this for awhile, lots of content here. I like your mindful nomadics idea. Hope to run into you some where out there.

I lived in Boulder, love Nederland. I'm south of there by Red Rocks now, probably on the road soon. I'll look for you in Arizona!
