Has anyone else had problems regulating the flame on a standard two burner Coleman camp stove? Are there any after market valves, any hacks?

Is this propane or gasoline? On the old gas ones I had, the generator would clog. They can be bought reasonably.

It’s propane. Coleman used to have good valves on their old white gas stove but the valves on their propane two burner stoves seem to be full on or, dang, I just turned it off.

An easy solution is a cast iron heat diffuser that you can set on top of the burner. It's not exactly gourmet level flame control, but hey, we're camping! This is what I use.

I have a Coleman propane grill/stove that works well. The adjustment can be a bit touchy though. Very small increments to adjust. I think this is just the way they are.
