Affordable Care Act Information

Hello - I'm new here.

There was a thread on the Affordable Care Act at the old cheaprvliving forum pages, but I don't see one here. This info is not that easy to find and so... after doing research... I'll post what I found here.

The old thread suggested choosing a plan that accommodates your travel plans... registering in a state where you will spend most of your time. However... income levels make many full-timers eligible for Medicaid.

I believe you must read each state's residency requirements.
For instance, one of Colorado's residency requirements are
"Intends to reside in the state, including without a fixed address"
which I found thru several clicks at:

I want to add that registering for Medicaid in any state is paid through the Federal reimbursements, and that both doctors and hospitals would much rather that you had an avenue of payment for services than to have you show up without it.
