hello everyone ! anybody have any info on the aliner on the back roads. thinking the hard sides will hold up in the desert in the winter. I like the van idea, by at heart i'm a truck guy, a 4x4 with a little comfort would do me fine, easy to haul, hard shell protection, not bad price with used ones. a bed , kitchen and table. sleep, eat and enjoy. I  keep spinning the wheel on my set-up. tick, tick goes the countdown.

A-Liners are quite popular in Alaska due to their hard sides and durability...holds up well against the wind. A buddy had one for a while up there; said it was great in harsh conditions.

My diesel truck died so I'm back to towing it with my 4-cyl car - with 320,000 miles on the clock! I finally had to replace the transmission, but the engine is still going strong.
