I brought the camera phone for the GMC and found this one too!

These are made in CA and they tend to get more and more rare the further east you go from there. But there was this one, just parked so nicely on this busy city street (17th Avenue just west of York, for anyone who knows Denver). I figure it's either getting ready for a trip or maybe just coming back from one (considering the holiday weekend last weekend). I think there's an ordinance against keeping these things parked on city streets all the time. (Either the GMC hasn't been noticed yet or maybe it just looks too much like a big van to stand out.)

As far as I know they are still being made but this one isn't new; that grille looks late 80s-early 90s to me. I think Lazy Daze has a good reputation for quality, though.

Meg

Lazy Daze is a family owned business still making class c's in the los angeles area. They only do factory direct sales, and make them to order. They have one of their early models on display at their showroom.
I live about 5 blocks away from there! I'll keep an eye out for this one. Wonder if they live here...

Back in the 60's, 70's & 80's didn't they also build houseboats?
