Our data's being sold already, so we might as well make something on it. Datacoup acts as a marketplace which you connect various social profiles to, even debit/credit cards (for spending information) and they aggregate your data to sell in anonymous lots, paying you a little each week. For me it's around $1.70 and I hear it can vary depending on your geographical location. It's a few gallons of gas per month at any rate.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Doubtful I'll use it but I'm glad to know about it

Um......   you are giving them your CC info........!?   That can be very dangerous.  I'll say no more.

Not the number, you just log in via their portal so they can pull the data. Their business model relies on not screwing people over so I'm not worried. My card's maxed out anyway.

And you don't have to opt for sharing this particular data, but it is some of the highest paying.

Spend your time building a real online income. That peanuts type stuff isn't worth the time. When I first started to make money online, for a $40 investment I had a $600 return in the first week. After I got better, I could turn $100 investment into $20k-$40k within a month. The risk is small and the rewards are great once you learn a few simple secrets. I don't use that method anymore because I'm lazy and don't feel like filling the couple thousand orders any more, since I can make $40k-$60k a year with basically no work on my part now.

Too many people think they're going to make big money being an afilliate or some such, and spend a lot of time and money trying to make them work. Right now I spend $40 a month for my business, half to the service I use, and half to an advertising outfit. I resell the service at $20/mo per person and I keep 100% of the profits. I average 200-250 customers that pay me every month. It's all automatic, I don't have to do anything, and the company I pay $20/mo to for the service provides all of the customer service to all of my customers. I just pay the second company $20/mo to advertise the service I offer.

In the past, I played with craigslist, and other online classified sites. It was free, and it did work, but once I found this advertising service, things really skyrocketed.

My point is just don't waste your time or efforts on the little stuff, put it into the bigger stuff with bigger long term rewards. I read somewhere that the average online business owner makes $50k-$60k per year. Get your slice of that pie.

Definitely, but a dollar here and a dollar there does add up. 5 minutes of time for $2/week for the forseeable future seems like a pretty good investment to me. But yeah, when I first started making money online I was filling out surveys for 2-3 hours a day for 80 cents a piece, and that got old fast. Right now I'm focusing on building affiliate link traffic. $100/mo seems like a pretty feasible first goal. Once these passive streams are established, that gives you the time to to work on bigger things that'll bring in more money, and the snowball keeps growing.

But just saying you spent $40 to make $600 doesn't help unless you tell us how you did it. You said you don't use it yourself, so we won't be competing with you. Help us out!

He's already said how he does it in another very recent thread.
It's in website hosting.

And on a side note....I need to send you another PM Off Grid

I clicked and read a little about it.  How do they make money?  Do they sell your "facebook friends" email addresses so they can spam them?  Why would anyone want to pay to know that I use my credit card to buy festival tickets and diesel fuel?  Do they sell my email address to third parties so they can spam me?  These are the only reasons I can think of for why someone would want to pay me $1.70 / week to see my private data.  I can think of other, sinister reasons as well, but none of it seems worth $1.70 / week.

For years people have been worried about "big brother". Look at us now, WE have become big brother by offering up our info on sites like facebook, ect.

They want to know what sorts of things you like, purchase habits, etc so they can more effectively market products. The companies that buy this info are looking for correlations, which is only possible with vast quantities of data. You should be more worried about the NSA. They have far more data on you and it's NOT anonymous. They found NSA code embedded in brand new hard drives from certain manufacturers. They have all of your email records. This is at the complete opposite end of the spectrum lol.

The LEOs love social sites like Farcebook and Tweeter.  People do such stupid and criminal things, and brag about it with videos!  I avoid these sites like the plague.  They also spread viruses and malware.
Sure, our data is 'out there', but that doesn't mean we should make it easy for them and hand it to them with a smile.  Make them work for it.
Many people just don't realize the dangers of The Web.

I have $100. If I just knew a few simple secrets I could turn it into $40K by next month. Is that 40K% in a month? Dang! Oh well, guess I'll invest in beer.

Guy

If anybody's interested, PM me and I can give you exactly what I've done in the past, and what I'm still doing today.  I believe anybody can do this.

K1ngN0thing,

I got your PM, but when I tried to reply, it said you had PM's turned off, and wouldn't let me continue.
