Blown head gasket, Rattle can paint job, Needs steering gear and front end rebuild.  :dodgy:

What it needs: head gasket and valve gasket replaced. The engine itself is great (less than 120k miles) but it leaks a little oil and loses a little compression because of the seals.

One of us is very confused. I never heard of seals causing low compression. Other than it has low compression, uses oil and needs a head gasket and possible rebuild, the engine is great.

I'll give him a couple of hundred for the high top. It should fit my van.

Rings, seals...consider the source.  They think rattle can swirlies is a "custom paint job".

If I was in my auto restoration prime I'd take a chance but that was 30 years ago.  It would certainly be gutted as soon as I got it in the driveway. I'm more interested in that aluminum roof. It would work out great for a wood stove.
