4 Days at the hospital

My mom is going in for kidney/artery surgery in a couple hours so prayers for Candie

Ill be staying in the lot for 4 days ...i gotta tell you its pretty convenient being a vandweller right now. My sister took my lead and stuck a mattress in the back of her durango. Wifi is not so good in the lot but ample anywhere else and moms room has all we need. Don't worry, we aren't swipin any food..there is a mcd across from lot

Best wishes for a speedy recover for your mom. Hospitals can be very understanding when it comes to family members staying in their lots. Some even supply electric hookups.

Hit up a local deli or supermarket deli for fresh food meal. All McD's isn't healthy even if so good tasting. Best wishes for your family.

Last year my Mom had to do a four day stint in the hospital too. Her BP was down but her heart rate was up. Her primary doctor was doing a routine exam and me take her in immediately!
The prior year I spent a week in there. It's a real drag. Every time I got interested in a TV show they'd interrupt for blood draws, or cart me off for a scan of some type...... Bummer!! ;-)
The food is pretty good though.

The surgery was a success removed anuerysm and saved kidney. She is in icu but should be moving to a room today. Thx for the prayers and posts!

Funny story, we've been trying to reach her sister..only able to leave voicemail. My mom left one telling her how scared she was. Turns out it was a wrong number. The guy said he is not real religious but was worried and prayed for 'the lady', and wanted to know how she was doing!

She's still in icu due to lung fluid...we were told its tough love time and gotta make her do breating exercises and even move around. My mom is pretty cantankerous so its a fight
I have to head out in a few to work so concludes my stay. Interesting note...if you leave after hours don't even have to pay the parking fee.
