I stayed in my high top g20 van in a storage facility for almost three months. For $25 a month it was a standard self-storage facility with rv/boat/trailer storage, and had individual electrical outlets (intended for chargers, and occasional surplus use). Had nearly 100% video coverage, 24hr gated access, &nbsp;and before i settled on the option i inquired on one particular subject... "I like to stay in my camper for a night before a trip, to insure all systems are functioning properly, is that a problem?" of course not, with this economy, they have a hard enough time filling units, more or less parking...<div><br></div><div>key thing i avoided like the&nbsp;plague was in and out movement...&nbsp;no need to risk something that works. Bonus feature i found out after i got back into a house, they had a black/grey dump station.</div>

Regarding location of the storage unit, was it in a large city, or suburb, or country setting?<div>Also, could you be more specific on what you mean by in/out movement?</div><div>Congratulations on your success!</div>

it was in a city limit, just outside of town, next to an industrial park entrance. in and out movement meaning i would go in once im ready to relax and sleep, and once in the gate, i would park, hookup, and not leave till morning.<div><br></div><div>since ive relocated out of the region, ill share the actual location, u can search google maps for Space Box in Ellenton, Florida.</div>

<span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0); font-family: Georgia;">Thanks, not too far from me currently. &nbsp;Nice to know about for future reference.</span><div><span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0); font-family: Georgia;"><br></span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(153, 0, 0); font-family: Georgia;">~SE</span></div>

I have thought about this in the past. Right now I would just like to find a storage place that supplies power so I can do some work on my Hi top.<br><br>Gus<br><br>

key to finding power, is rv lots. diesel batteries are expensive so smart chargers are commonly needed, and if ur in an area that gets heavy seasonal snow bird traffic, your probably in the right area for it.

I would be careful doing this.<div><br></div><div>In some places it's actually illegal to be living on that kind of premise after hours. From what I've seen of it, they'll just tell you to move it, but the owner would get the ticket.</div>

true, as with every thing, check your local laws. in fact if ur even&nbsp;remotely&nbsp;interested in this life style, check ur local laws, bc one day it will be illegal to even think of it more or less promote it....... yay politicians!!!<div><br></div><div>key to the storage lots, get a spot away from the entrance, and make sure its a 24hr facility</div>
