That does indeed has the 318 (5.2L) but not gonna have the 727 I don't think, it'll have an overdrive automatic
if your build isn't going to be heavy, I'd for sure have a look at it

What kind if wait would be too much wait for this van?

from the pics that thing actually looks clean enough to be 50k,but a dealer named the king probably knows all the detail tricks..

with that said i would get the chevy and use the leftover 5k to fix it up,thats if the chevy works and isnt rusty

I'm with Gary on this. The Dodge is WAY overpriced. It sure isn't worth almost $4K more.  IMHO

Hello again friends :)

can anyone tell me about the 98 Dodge B-1500? do they typically come with the 318 motor and 727 transmissions that I've been hearing so many good reviews about?

I feel like this could be a van worth taking a serious look at for my first Van Dwelling

Love and Gratitude!

For 1998 Dodge vans will feature 5.2L V8 and 46RE overdrive tranny. The 46RE is an electronically controlled overdrive transmission that is based on the old 727 3-speed. Rust and the OD on there vans are its "Achilles heal".
