we had 3 Larrys at both last years and this years TW200 rally in Moab
Idaho Larry, Washington Larry and Mississippi Larry, as I will not reside in MS much longer......

A great many have helped re-enforce my resolve to exit..

Not exactly sure when my launch date was or will be........
I haven't slept in the house since Dec 31, 2015 so that is the date I'm picking.

Lights, water and gas will be turned off on May 16th.
Guess I need to be finished moving, trashing and cleaning before then.
Also discovered I had to have a forwarding address to shut them off.

Guess what, (sigh) you have to have 2 forms of ID and show up in person to get a PO Box.
So I went and got one at the local post office. 
When I get land and an address in NV I'll go to the post office there and get another.

And the Jell-O strikes again...
Looks like I'll be keeping the house for awhile. The best offer so far is 20,000 less than I'm willing to accept.
I don't have to stay here all the time. Think I'll start filling my national park passport in the southeast.
If anyone needs a place to park for a little while just off I20 at Jackson MS, send me a message.

As of 3:30 CT today I am officially houseless and debt free.

Need to update... :-/


Arrived in NV. June 27th
Bought lot. July 18th
Got paperwork and Address for lot. July 25th'ish
Changed auto insurance to NV. July 27th
Updated Addresses for everything. Aug 1st
Bought B350 Van. Aug 10th.
Got enough mail to prove I was me and lived here. Aug 20th
Registered vehicles and applied for DL. Aug 22nd

Still sitting here on my lot waiting for my DL to arrive in the mail.

So this just happened.
Decided the money to work for 6 more months wasn't worth it.
I have my resignation letter typed up waiting for some time to talk to my boss and I get an email.
I have received a contingency assignment, training to start Oct 11.
Title is TFS Cable Repair/Mtce.
So instead of doing the job I'm tired of for the next 6 months I'm going to be in training.
Some if these classes sound interesting and one will lower my car insurance. Somewhat excited about this.
Management of dry cell batteries.
Defensive Driving.
CPR
Fiber splicing....
I am going to attempt to schedule the classes around the RTR..

CPR sounds like a great skill to learn, My ex had to learn it for her job as an EMS dispatcher at one time
Defensive driving is actually a very good class to take, too, I was a Taxi driver, then a Bus driver, then Taxi driver again for a while, and you had to take the driver safety course every 2 years
really changed my perspective on driving

Well just couldn't keep forcing myself to keep doing it.
Last day at work will be the 31st. Guess I'll have to figure out what I want to do.

Larry, I know exactly how you feel. In fact, I'm having a hard time making it to the New year. Someday maybe but not today.
