Well, I guess it's about time for an update. Spent 2 weeks in Lake Havasu City, AZ, then some time in Ehrenberg, AZ. then back to LHC for 2 more weeks. FINALLY at RTR 2018. I've already met several of the friends I made 2 years ago at my first RTR and originally parked near them. But alas...

A Ranger stopped by my camp yesterday and reminded me that there is a 14 day limit for camping on BLM Land. I thanked him kindly and told him I would move before I reached the 14 day limit. Has anyone else been visited by a Ranger in the Ehrenberg area?

There's a secluded spot by the Colorado River off Oxbow Rd, due south of the Flying J. Coordinates are (33.573247, -114.533355)

Welcome to the tribe. Feel free to stop by and say hello in Ehrenberg. Hot coffee is available in about 3 minutes. Just look for the white school bus called "HANNAH". We're on the right about a quarter mile before you reach the top of the mesa.

Sounds nice, but I have things to do and they can't get done if I'm in the water. Fortunate for me I'm not allergic to SWEAT.

Well lesson learned. I could have taken until 11/04 to get here (Lake Havasu City) by making lots of small jumps east of Albuquerque but NO, I had to hurry up and get here before it turned cold in Flagstaff. So now I get to roast my buns here. LOL. Anyone know of a shady spot around Lake...
