    Popping fuses like popcorn

Ok... so first off, thank you hdr for the advice. I figured out it was not my setup, and began checking my wires back to the fan. And found my problem. Fun fact about maxair fans: wire color scheme does not follow normal 12v circuit colors. What that means is: the black wire should not be...

    Popping fuses like popcorn

The wires on the fan are attached to the fuse block with crimped on circle connections. It could be a short in the fan, I suppose, I didnt check that

    Popping fuses like popcorn

Ok, so I've connected a vmax battery to a blue sea 100A fuse block. Positive side of battery goes to a battery switch, then a 100A fuse, then to the fuse block. Negative side of battery goes to vehicle chassis. As does the negative side of fuse block. There is only one thing wired to it: a...

Inverter wiring / hot water heater

ok guys got another question for ya... so we capitalised on black friday deals and got a load of stuff for our van. one of these things was a hot water heater. however, since my partner and i worry about having propane in an enclosed environment, it is electric. it has an 1800W draw, so...

    Layouts

speaking from experience, if you or your partner are over 5'6", sleeping sideways in the back will not work. i have discovered that a sliding bed behind the drivers seat (adjusts from 26" to 52" wide) along the wall is pretty amazing. when its not extended, it makes a great lounge/work area. i...

    low temp t-stat

hey all... so ive been going rounds on the internet about low temp thermostats. i hear they are good for your engine, bad for gas mileage, and was even told they are useless on a fuel - injected engine, due to the fact that if your engine doesnt reach normal operating temp (approx 190) your...

    solenoid + charger/maintainer

yes. i am attaching to the alternator for charging. this will be my main source of power, and i plan on putting in a solar panel or two later on. now, the solar panels...those will require a charger/maintainer, right?
