    Fish out of water.

Hi HappyGrandma, I'm looking for a travel buddy anywhere from KY/IN to AZ; if you're somewhere along the route and would like a trial camp, let me know, I have a spare tent. (We can Skype first to make sure we're not hatchet murderers or anything, lol.)

    Vintage trailer restoration help wanted

Hi All, Not sure this is the right forum...I'm looking for help with a leaking and now water-damaged 1971 Shasta Compact. The damage is mostly new, thanks to some horrific thunderstorms for 10 of the last 14 days. There was also some former water damage, but now the Shasta actually smells dank...

Meriwether Lewis campground in Hohenwald, TN

The Meriwether Lewis campground is pretty nice. Free, no reservations required. A campground host showed up a couple days after I got there, not sure how long they're staying. Hi Ladies, I'm going to head from Tennessee to New Hampshire and back again, starting around July 20, get there for Labor Day, then turn around and head back. I'm in a small RV, but if anyone wants to ride along and tent camp on my site (or their own site), or convoy, I'd love some company. I'm...

Women Only: I chopped it all off!

Good for you! I went in for an "emergency pixie" a couple of months in and love it. The last lady got a little too crazy with the clippers though so I got up while I still had bangs, lol.

Are you really happy as a nomad?

I've only been on the road for three months but no, I'm already counting down to the day I can get back in a house. I've got a long row to hoe though, the plan is three years on the road to pay off the debt I've been carrying since my business closed during the Great Recession; yes, six years...

    Hello from Tennessee

I've been full-time in my vintage Shasta for 2.5 months now. It's been kind of tough. Giving up my rental house, moving day was hectic with pouring rain, took too long, had too much stuff, got the trailer stuck and ruined the lawn, landlady standing outside my car door waiting for my key... I...
