I would need the T to be placed before the regulator - good to know it can be done by a professional plumber - thank you!

T-ing off of propane in a class C - possible?

I didn't know where to post this so please feel free to move it to the appropriate spot. Although I'm back in a 8-5 job and living in my s&b, I haven't given up my dream of selling this house, buying a small class c and living on the road. Part of that dream is lampworking (melting glass rods...

Artwork for the van ceiling ?

I love the beach scene! The ceiling of my bus was dreary and boring, but has a great skylight. I took some tig rod, bent it in a semi circle, and threaded a bunch of my lampwork beads on it, the stuck it in the skylight. PRETTY, especially when the sun shines through it.

    Does someone know/use this product?

I have a generator for my primary source of electricity. That said, I have this http://www.sears.com/diehard-platinum-portable-power-1150-with-jumpstarter-air/p-02871988000P and have used it more times than I thought I would. I've jump started my bus battery a couple of times...

Bolivar Beach TX (ferry ride to Galveston). $10 annual beach parking permit and I'm camped less than 50' from the Gulf. Lots of introspection and reflection on this trip - I planned it with the 3rd anniversary of my husband's death in mind. The soothing sounds of the surf, long walks...

I'm thinking of using an AC fridge instead of DC. How much less efficient is an AC fridge with an inverter compared to a

Long term efficiency and costs were not my first consideration. Minimal outlay of upfront cash was. On hand I owned one of the larger, taller dorm fridges and a Honda generator so I'm using those. I don't live in my bus, but take extended road trips in it (2-6...

Cast Iron Pan Conditioner - should I or shouldn't I?

Down south we use our cast iron pans for almost everything. To "season" a new one, or one that's lost it's coating, we preheat, rub generously with oil, lard, etc, then put in the oven on 200-250 degrees overnight. Wipe out excess, perhaps repeat if needed. Never had an issue...

    Cheaper than cooking?

I go back and forth between eating out, deli, and cooking a few meals for myself when I want homestyle comfort food. Much depends on where I am, too. Urban I'm more inclined toward the deli/eating out. Remote - cooking due to gas prices and convenience.

    Cabinets/Storage

The glass rods are about the diameter of a pencil and 13-14" long. I didn't come up with a good solution - instead decided to limit the quantity I take with me on the road and store them in a drawer with some dividers. Glass is pretty heavy, so it's probably the best solution...
