Much of the original wallpaper in my 19-year-old TT is buckled and loose, and I've been peeling it off with the help of a heat gun. The wallpaper seems like the equivalent of Contact Paper. But, the tacky residue left on the nice wood panels underneath is a problem. Anyone found a way to remove the adhesive residue without harming the stained wood underneath?

Thank you so much, every one of you! I now have the hope of a better and considerably less sticky tomorrow!

In our old Class-C the goo dried after about 2 weeks and I pained right over it.  I didn't bother to try and remove what was left after the "contact" type wallpaper was removed.
