    2005 Chevy Astro- Good deal?

Are you planning on doing the work yourself if it needs it? Also in certain areas they might be worth more or less so you might be able to make a trip and pick one up that's cheaper and in better condition.

    Bought a 1996 B3500 handicap van

Right! its probably the most ideal for me when it comes to space vs. mobility. I was actually looking at shuttle vans but they were just to big and not very efficient for cross country drives. This one just worked out!

    Bought a 1996 B3500 handicap van

So after it got wicked cold here (about 0 degrees F) my Yukon security system went haywire and made me loose confidence in its abilities and so I decided to find something else. So my new project is this 1996 Dodge B3500 wagon van eith the 5.9 motor 125k miles!

New to this - Is a 1997-1999 econoline a bad idea?

The older drive lines tend to be easier to work on and have cheaper parts. Less electronics usually makes things more simple but you usually lose some fuel mileage without all the tech. I switched to a 1996 dodge van over my 2000 gmc because of some intermittent security system issues.

Soon to be full time in a GMC Yukon

Hey there! I'm in the process of becoming full time and have just been camping out on weekends when I can. I try to keep things as cheap as I can which is why I have this beautiful Yukon I got from a family member with a blown transmission for $650 which I think was a deal. I traded a friend my...
