    Hello from Melbourne Australia

Warwick, Welcome to the forum! Don't know a thing about any kind of football, but would like to visit Australia. Bill Bryson's book was full of praises for Australia.

    Anyone in Flagstaff area?

Thanks, Jim. I'll sent you a private message to get more information about your location. Maybe there are some others in the area that we could meet up with also. The more people, the more information and laugher.  :)

    Anyone in Flagstaff area?

Thank you.  I'm willing to drive to other places to meet a group, but Flagstaff is closer for me. I live in Arizona, but would be willing to drive just about anywhere in the SouthWest -- but not high altitudes (I get altitude sickess). Yes, I am very excited about it all -- I've traveled a lot...

    Anyone in Flagstaff area?

Hi,  I introduced myself a couple of months ago. On September 8, I will become a full time nomad. Since I haven't done anything like this before, I would like to meet up with a group that is in Flagstaff, Prescott, or Cottonwood areas.  Plan to head to Quartsite in November. Thanks.

    Good advice.  :shy:

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Almost There, Thanks for posting pics of your van.  I am so impressed with all the great work that you did. It gave me some ideas. Again, great job on the van!

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Mayble,  Like me, you need lots of windows.  :D  It helps me to know that you wouldn't want to drive it every day. I think I'd find it too much also. And thanks for reminding me that the purpose of my journey is to be out in Nature as much as possible. The van sounds more and more like what I...

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

It is very true that it's hard to advise someone else. You sound happy with your class C.  Once I'm on the road I'll have lots of time to check out vehicles and see what feels right for me. Who knows? I might find that the Camry is enough for me, just as some people live out of a Prius.  :D

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Thanks for more info, Larry. I think the Class C sounds too big for me to drive, and the point of going on the road for me is to be in Nature as much as possible. So I've pretty much ruled out Class C.  I hadn't thought of the high roof van being a problem with wind. I'd hate to give up the...

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Thanks, Wandering Larry That was a very helpful list from someone with experience living in a Class C. I guess the main reason that I was interested in a Class C was so that I could walk around inside. I'll try to find a high roof van, but they seem scarce. I've just sold some of my stuff...

    Thanks, high desert stranger.

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Desert Dweller, Thanks so much. As far as my needs go, I'm single so I don't need a lot of space -- I just like an open feeling (Don't fence me in!). That is why I was thinking of a passenger van with lots of windows. With all the windows, it feels bigger. But a Class C is probably more space...

    Class C or Class A for $15000 - $20000?

Thanks arctic cat.  I am told that a good mechanic can just open the hood and look at an engine and tell if it has been well maintained. When I find a vehicle I like, it seems that the next step would be to have a good mechanic look at it. My mechanic in Tucson is wonderful, but I doubt that...
